Acadiana Playgroup:

Unless there is a local China-related event scheduled, the Acadiana Playgroup always meets on the second Saturday of each month. Over the past year we have expanded our meeting locations and been gathering at a variety of places, including: Children's Museum of Acadiana the Zoo of Acadiana, Kart-Ranch, and the Carencro McDonald's Playroom. In November 2003 our group met and took a road trip to the Alexandria Zoo. The weather tends to rule our gathering points and we plan accordingly after hearing a weather report. Baton rouge playgroup

The Baton Rouge playgroup meets from 10-12 the second Saturday of each month for an informal playtime and occasional craft and story. Children of all ages and siblings are welcome to join us, as are waiting families and also families who have adopted from other Asian countries. We are presently meeting at a church so that we can be inside or outside as the weather dictates.  for additional information, Contact Amy at BatonRougePlaygroup@fccl.org .

Northshore Playgroup:

The group usually gets together about 8-10 times a year at various places including members homes who volunteer to host a party or public places in the Northshore area. Anyone who would like to be added to the e-mail list can send their e-mail and basic information (name, address, phone, children's names) to genie at NorthShore_Playgroup@fccl.org
